Colorado

coloradomainIn late June, Beyond Liquid Adventures will again visit the mountains and rivers of Colorado for 8 days, six days on the river. The whitewater is a combination of easier class III, and harder class IV runs–all classic western rivers. All that is necessary is to have a roll in class III rapids, a level of comfort on Lower Yough-type whitewater, a spirit of adventure, and some warm gear.

Rivers may include, but are not limited to: Clear Creek (class II-IV, near Denver), Roaring Fork (class III-IV), the Crystal (class III), the Numbers of the Arkansas (class III-IV), and Gunny Gorge.

All of the runs are day trips, each day driving to a new river. You sleep under clear skies where the stars wink back at you and the rivers sing you to sleep with a tune of their very own.

Expect to eat both lunch and breakfast in Colorado’s great outdoors. Dinner is usually in restaurants we find in the small towns along the way. Participants should be in good physical condition, able to sustain vigorous activity at altitudes up to 7-8000 ft.

Join Beyond Liquid Adventures and its experienced staff of whitewater kayakers in Colorado where we will lead you down and through the most spectacular array of scenery and rivers.

Paddlers bring their own personal boating gear and paddle. The cost of the trip includes the use of a boat in Colorado. Colorado Boat List. An equipment list and health form will be sent to you once you reserve a spot.

Prices: The cost is $1195, which includes transportation in Colorado, breakfast and lunch, camping, leadership and instruction. Paddlers bring about $100 for evening meals in restaurants.
