Group Lessons, Parties and Corporate outings

Sharing the experience of the river in a kayak offers a unique opportunity to get to know colleagues and to bond with friends. It’s a kind of fun that you as a group can have together, and by the time the day is over, you will find many new experiences to talk about.  We can help you organize an event on the river, and we will tailor a class to suit your needs as long as there is a minimum of four in the group.

The sport of kayaking is all about learning new skills, personal growth, and majestically beautiful environments. It is both excitement and inner reflection in a non-traditional atmosphere.

The Potomac: Young professionals considering work in a given location usually have ‘ Lifestyle’ high on their list of priorities. Surprisingly, Washington, DC is itself a destination for outdoors enthusiasts, with rock climbing and above all kayaking opportunities abundantly available close to the city. Most people living outside of the DC area are unaware of the sudden tranquility of the environment just a few miles out of town. Washington, DC is home to one of the nation’s strongest river kayaking and canoeing communities.

For youth: We’ve been teaching youth to paddle for years. Young persons find the rapids on the Potomac exhilarating and a great spot to hold a party. Don’t hesitate to call us about birthday parties on the river and school outings. We are experts in safety and are experienced in introducing kids to both the fun and the responsibility of being outdoors.

Cost: $70/person for a 3.5 hr lesson. If you organize a group of 5-7 people including yourself, you get 50% off the lesson or if you organize a group of 8 or more total, you get the lesson for free!
