Level 3 – River Running

This class reviews basic skills and moves on to critical concepts such as reading the river, river hazards, and how to paddle in a group.  Then we head downstream for a small trip around the Seneca Loop. Dancing with the water, gliding on its currents, understanding its flow, you will experience the river as you never have before. Classes are instructed by friendly, professional ACA certified instructors.

The class is a great starting point if you’ve been paddling for a while, consider yourself an advanced beginner, but have never had formal instruction.

It is part of our beginner progressive learning package(PLP).

We encourage all our students also to consider indoor pool rolling classes during the winter or stroke technique clinics, either prior to or together with beginner river classes. Rolling is a complementary and necessary skill for fun and safe river running.
