Cancellation Policy

The Small Print – but very important

To provide excellent instruction in every class, allowing instructors to provide individualized attention, we maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio. Our cancellation policy allows us to plan classes with the proper ratios of student to instructor and to match students of compatible skill levels.

For this reason we are unable to provide refunds for last minute cancellations. If we are given 48 hours notice of a cancellation, we will provide a credit towards a future class. For cancellation of a weekend class (Saturday or Sunday), we must be advised by Noon on the Thursday prior to the class.

Classes run rain or shine. This is probably the only sport where it doesn’t matter if it rains.  Rain or no rain you get equally wet.  In the event of an electrical storm, we will either make the decision before hand to cancel the class, or we will sit out the storm for a few minutes on the river bank while the storm passes, and then resume the class. If for any reason, we are unable to hold a class or trip, we will be happy to make a full refund.
